Chandigarh: All Good Taste (AG Taste) energy bars is the brand for energy snacks that uses all natural ingredients, no preservatives, and no added sugar in their energy health bars.
Chetan Pal along with his brother Ajay, launched AG Taste in 2016, as a tribute to their food-loving parents. By creating preservative-free, healthy nutrition bars it is aimed at making people healthy.
“The name of the company – AG Taste, stands for Ajinder- our mother and Gurbir- our father. The name of the bars is All Good taste, which we believe reflects that there is no preservative and no additives in our products – plus the fact that these are the best tasting bars. All our ingredients offer health benefits and are completely natural with no additives or preservatives, which is our main differentiator when compared to other brands in the market. Our mother Ajinder was diagnosed with late-stage cervical cancer in 2014. She passed away in September 2014. Our father, Gurbir had Muscular Dystrophy, that results in weakening of muscles over a period of time and then he took a turn for the worse, and also left us a few months later in January 2015,” said Chetan Pal, Founder of AG Taste.
The production of energy bars started in mid 2016. AG Taste launched 3 flavors – Le Chocolat, Berrylicious and Nutcase.
Here are the healthy ingredients that each of these bars incorporate:
1. Le Chocolat: A deliciously crunchy energy bar, handcrafted using the finest dark chocolate, sun kissed California almonds, walnuts and oats, mixed with the natural goodness of honey. These are serious crowd pleasers and healthy for consumption.
2. Berrylicious: Berrylicious is a zesty mixture of golden raisins, red cranberries, black currants, flax seeds, sunflower seeds and white chocolate, bound in honey and oats, for a snack that satisfies from the first bite till the very last.
3. Nutcase: A crunchy, nutty blend of Amaranth, heart-healthy almonds, with apricots, golden raisins, dates, flax seeds and oats, all mixed with the natural goodness of honey with a dash of organic coconut oil.
The snack bars could be ideal for those times when the hunger monster rises and shines and craves all things sweet or junk. Being rich in natural nutrients such as healthy fats and proteins as well as vitamins and minerals, these AG taste bars promise to keep you energized through your busy schedule.
AG Taste bars were first launched across Chandigarh and are now slowly making a presence in stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Jaipur. The energy bars are also sold online across 30 sites, including Amazon and BigBasket.
The company is also in talks with corporate for creating co-branded products.
The packaging is unique and will stand out in any retail space. In fact, the distinctive colours for each flavour means that the customers can just ask for them by colour. The packaging and the colours were also designed by us to make sure that it is unique and eye-catching – no other energy bar is being packaged in individual boxes. We have not compromised on the cost of any materials.
Good food and good health should be accessible to all. In order to increase our production capacity and automate some of our processes and to invest in machinery and labour, the company is looking for potential investors.
AG Taste is committed to donating a percentage of net revenues from the sales of our products to the Indian Cancer Society, to specifically raise awareness of cervical screening in India.
