New Delhi: Taste takes an all new definition with the launch of the second luxury edition of The Glenlivet’s prestigious Winchester Collection Vintage 1966. The limited edition luxury whisky will be available in India, exclusively at Mumbai Duty Free. Taking luxury to a more premium pedestal, Vintage 1966 is the second release from The Winchester Collection, the first series of rare and precious 50 year old single malt scotch whiskies from The Glenlivet. Only 100 bottles of the limited edition will be released worldwide out of which only two will be released in India with each priced at USD 30,000.

A celebration of craft, this rare whisky has matured for 50 years in exceptional sherry casks and has been curated by The Glenlivet Master Distiller Alan Winchester.
Every element of the exceptional whisky, from the single malt to the bottle it is housed in, is the result of painstaking artistry by four celebrated artisans from the British Isles: Master Distiller Alan Winchester, glass artist Brodie Nairn, silversmith Richard Fox and cabinet maker John Galvin. The whisky is an exquisite and unique liquid, bursting with flavours from the sherry influence and luxuriously dark in colour.
With the incredibly sweet and rich aromas of treacle, moist raisins and homemade apricot jam, the timeless and precious whisky presents a perfect combination of the spirit and the sherry cask that releases a wonderful array of flavours.
