Ola partnered with UPSTDC during ‘Taj Mahotsav’ in Agra

Agra: Providing smart and sustainable mobility solutions to tens of thousands of visitors at this year’s ‘Taj Mahotsav’, Ola, India’s most popular mobile app for transportation, partnered with the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation successfully. As the festival’s official mobility partner, Ola had rolled out several offers and discounts for commuters across Agra. Under this association, Ola launched dedicated ‘Ola Zones’ at the festival premises to facilitate mobility solutions to lakhs of commuters. Manned by Ola representatives, commuters were able to take assistance in booking a ride, thereby making the experience more convenient. The ‘Ola zones’ also worked as pick up and drop off points for the customers; and also had exclusive parking areas for Ola vehicles.
The 10-day long festival that concludes on March 27, 2017 saw tens of thousands of patrons from across the world flocking to Agra. The sheer number of people that attend this marquee event tends to put a lot of stress on the existing transportation infrastructure. The association with Ola enabled easy and affordable transportation for commuters and also reduced the expected time of arrival (ETA) of the vehicles to as low as 2 minutes. Apart from strengthening the intra-city commuting requirements, Ola also rolled out special offers on Ola’s smart mobility solution for inter-city travel, Ola Outstation, for visitors from neighbouring cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Kanpur, Jhansi, Gwalior and Lucknow.

We would like to appreciate Ola for providing a seamless transportation experience to all the visitors in our city and look forward to their participation in strengthening the mobility infrastructure of the city.”

In the past, Ola has also provided requisite support for some of India’s biggest cultural events including the famous ‘Rath Yatra’ in Puri and the ‘Ambubachi Mela’ in the city of Guwahati.
