IHG introduces its first Holiday Inn hotel in Kolkata

New Delhi: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) strengthens its presence in the Eastern region of India with the introduction of its first Holiday Inn hotel in Kolkata – Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport. With the opening of the 137-room hotel in partnership with Jain Group, the total number of Holiday Inn hotels has gone up to 11 in India.
Holiday Inn is one of the world’s most recognizable hotel brands with 1,215 open hotels and 261 hotels in the pipeline. With a vision to expand its footprints in the region, IHG in partnership with Jain Group will introduce two more Holiday Inn properties in Durgapur and Siliguri, West Bengal.
