[dropcap]B[/dropcap]engaluru: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the opening of Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Whitefield ITPL. The property is the second Holiday Inn Express hotel to open its doors from the IHG – SAMHI partnership. With 161 efficiently design, contemporary rooms, best in class in-room amenities and a great service culture, the hotel aims to empower guests visiting Bengaluru to accomplish their travel goals.
According to a survey conducted by IHG in conjunction with SAMHI Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru is amongst the top two cities for business travel in India; and emerged as the most travelled destination from Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. The survey was completed by Nielsen India in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad with 25-44-year old respondents who travel largely for business across India. The survey also revealed that the majority of respondents (46%) spends 3-5 days in a month travelling for business. The newly opened Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Whitefield ITPL is well positioned to cater to the needs of the growing business travel segment in the city.
